There's something slightly stressful about this video of a watchmaker servicing an Omega Speedmaster. You know that feeling when you're assembling a piece of Ikea furniture and you have the constant fear of losing one of the little screws in your carpet? This video kind of does that, except here, the watchmaker is removing much smaller pieces from a watch that's worth a few thousand dollars. See that gear smaller than your pinky nail? Let's hope it doesn't slip out of his tweezers! Luckily this guy is calm as hell while removing all of these tiny little parts like its miniature mechanical surgery (or the most difficult game of Operation ever played). Just gotta put on my magnifier to take out this minuscule spring. No problem! It's enough to make you happy that such highly specialised professions still exist.
