'The $1000 Emoji Machine': This Iphone X Parody Video Mocks All Of Its New Features
People canít seem to stop taking the piss on the Apple product.
The newly launch iPhone X sure does look cool. Even those with a perfect-condition iPhone 7 Plus is lusting over it. But with a starting price of USD999 (mind you, we’re still not sure what the prices will be over here yet, but what we know: expensive), we definitely have to think twice (or once, just sell your kidney) about getting that Super HD Retina Display glass thing.
To summarise, here are some key facts and figures:
1 | Home button: Gone. You can now flick an open app upwards to return to the home screen.
2 | Wireless charging. With Apple’s AirPower pad, but also existing Qi chargers. It can charge 50% of its battery in half an hour. And battery life should last two hours longer than the iPhone 7.
3 | It uses Face ID rather than Touch ID. So now your face is your Bond.
4 | Apple has a new chip. The A11 Bionic. Described as the “most powerful and smartest chip ever in a smartphone.” It’s a six-core CPU design with two performance cores that are 25 percent faster and four efficiency cores that are 70 percent faster than the A10 Fusion.
5 | Boasting a remarkable 5.8-inch edge-to-edge AMOLED screen Super Retina Display and a quad HD+ display with a 2436 x 1125 resolution. There’s a 12 megapixel dual-lens camera.
6 | The Animoji feature is similar to Snapchat’s face-mapping filters, letting you animate the emoji catalogue using your face.
7 | Customers will be able to order iPhone X beginning Friday, October 27, with availability beginning Friday, November 3, in Andorra, Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Greenland, Guernsey, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, India, Ireland, Isle of Man, Italy, Japan, Jersey, Kuwait, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, (Stop checking, Malaysia’s not in the list) Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, UAE, the UK, the US and US Virgin Islands.
Whether you love the phone or not, it’s an Apple product, at an Apple launch – people are sure to poke fun at it, it’s inevitable. And this parody video of the iPhone X by Jacksfilms sure does keep Steve Job’s spirit alive.
