Microsoft Shows Off Their New 3D Hover Gesture For Windows Phone

Microsoft has just introduced their new 3-D hover gestures for Windows phone. As you can see from the video above, the "pre-touch sensing for mobile interaction" system allows users to unlock a series of cool functions as your finger draws closer to the screen. What sets it apart from a certain fruit named competitor (not the berry one) is that Microsoft's technology is based on pressure of an actual screen, which in turn can anticipate and sense interactions as well as provide contextual features. We definitely cannot wait to check this out for real.
