Robinsons has had a long shopping history in Malaysia with the first store opening in 1928. It closed in the 70s and made its comeback 32 years later in 2007 with a store in The Gardens Mall, providing shoppers with specially curated brands and lifestyle products.
Now, its flagship store has opened at Shoppes at the swanky soon-to-be-opened Four Seasons Kuala Lumpur in the heart of the city. Holding true to its principle of providing an upscale shopping experience, Robinsons Kuala Lumpur offers a comprehensive selection of over 500 brands covering everything from fashion to luggage and beauty products to kitchen ware; 110 brands are exclusive to the store and 65 making their Malaysian debut.
The store is spread over 200,000 sq. ft. and four floors, and you’ll be able to find luxury labels from coveted designers to high street brands. Among the fashion brands available are Tara Jarmon, Dune London and Les Merveilleuses Ladurée for women; PS by Paul Smith, Figaret Paris and Cheap Monday for men; and Emilio Pucci Junior, Young Versace and Kenzo Kids for children. Alongside these international names are pieces by local designers like Nala Designs, Nurita Harith and Tarik Jeans.
There’s also an extensive list of gadgets, including high-end sound systems, watches and cameras, and the home department floor stocks plenty of home décor items and appliances from the likes of John Lewis and Tom Dixon.
Robinsons Kuala Lumpur isn’t just a shopping destination. Eateries like La Bodega, Croisserie Café and Starbucks Reserve are just what you need when taking a break from all that shopping! There’s also the Leekaja Beauty Salon (the number one hair salon brand in South Korea), a lifestyle venue complete with a range of beauty treatments and in-store café.
The men aren’t left out should they want to indulge in a grooming session of their own. The award-winning Gentlemen’s Tonic is located on the second floor, offering a luxury spa as well as hair and grooming services.
Style Consultant Services are exclusively available at Robinsons Kuala Lumpur to offer advice on gifts, home makeover ideas or an outfit for a special occasion. They will carefully curate a selection for you while you relax in the comfortable Personal Shopper Suites.
So, if retail therapy or window shopping is what you’re after, this should be your next stop.
