Quintessentially a New York brand at heart yet designed with a touch of Japanese engineering, Daiki Suzuki's Engineered Garments teams up with the iconic skate brand Vans for yet another iteration of intentionally mismatched goodness.
Aptly named the "Mismatched" pack, Engineered Garments and Vans has given two of the shoe brand's most iconic silhoutte, the Classic Slip-On LX and Sk8-Hi LX touches of leather and suede in three colourways, off-white, black and moon rock.
Featuring leather and suede uppers, each sneaker comes in a pair where one foot features the leather while the other, the suede constructions, both complimenting and negating each other at the same time, a sort of Yin and Yang feel to it we reckon.
The only downside to coppin' a pair of these babies is that you'll either need a friend or a flight to New York as these are only available at the Nepanthes store in New York.
But sacrifices must be made for style and the satisfaction of throwing your co-workers and friends off with them guessing whether if you're intentionally or accidentally mismatching your plain coloured sneakers is just too good of an opportunity to pass.
Who says being minimal is boring?
