Official Timothée Chalamet Graphic Tees Are Here and They're Glorious
Like the one James Ivory wore to the Oscars, but available to the public and affordable.

There isn't a ton of latitude in menswear on red carpets—especially for the Oscars. Most guys wear tuxes. Some wear bad ones. Some wear good ones. But this year, Call Me by Your Name screenwriter James Ivory made his very normal tux into a very big deal: He wore it with a shirt painted with Timothée Chamalet's face on it.
The internet lost it's freaking mind. It's art! It's fashion! It's public-facing support of Call Me by Your Name! At the time, something similar could only be commissioned by the artist who painted it, Andrew Mania. But the artist has now gone mainstream: T-shirts and accessories with copies of the painting are now available online through his site, Mania T-Shirts.
The new offerings are available online now. There are scoop necks, V-necks, and ringer tees. But that's not all! There are phone cases, tote bags, and even a coffee mug. All emblazoned with Chamalet's face, and all at all reasonable price point (everything goes for less than USD50).
This is supporting public art at its finest. First of all, Timothée Chalamet is a gem. His poise and talent have helped to mend the damaged reputation of all 20-somethings, everywhere, being trash. Next, Call Me by Your Name is a film worth supporting. (Go see it to understand. Or, trust us blindly.) And lastly, Andrew Mania is just an artist with a love for the film, whose work became viral in just a night. He saw a hole in the market—a very large Timothée Chalamet-shaped hole—and used his art to fill it. Now if that's not a venture worth supporting, nothing is. Long live the graphic tee.
