Whether you’re using it to dress it up or down, by now, you should already have a piece of denim jacket in your closet. If yes, you already own one, then check this one out—you could use another one. If not, don’t fret. Start now. Local denim brand Tarik Jeans has just launched their Limited Edition Type II Trucker Jacket. With only 12 pieces created, every piece is numbered individually in its hidden lining pocket. The brand that celebrates the rich culture that lies right with us makes their trucker jackets with red line selvedge 3/1 right hand twill. Using Japanese vintage construction that's now updated with a slim cut, it finishes off with the brand’s signature Mamak buttons.
In the campaign video featuring lead vocalist of the band OH CHENTAKU!, Myo, he explaines how riding his bike makes him feel alive and relates it to his denim jacket. “It’s the same with the right jacket, you feel a connection.” Denims aren’t only to be worn waist down, when you find the right one, you love it for life.
