A fall/winter 2018 collection that brings together the best of two worlds.

There is something quite remarkable about the power of collaboration — a pity they don’t usually last longer than a couple of seasons. A rarity in the world of fashion team-ups is the decade-long pairing of Raf Simons and Fred Perry, a testament to their shared ethos of love and appreciation for youth and subculture.
As part of the celebration of their long-standing partnership, Raf Simons and Fred Perry will be launching their combined fall/winter 18 collection. With the idea of starting afresh, Raf Simons drew from his eponymous label for inspiration, elevating the classic Fred Perry menswear styles by playing with the proportions and adding his signature bold and graphic prints. Think oversized polo-tees, sweatshirts and jackets, in earthy tones of grey caramel, unexpected tartan panelling across the shoulders and a tribute to Raf Simon’s fall/winter 17 show, the use of industrial duct tape.
Also in conjunction with the release of their fall/winter 18 collection, Raf Simons and Fred Perry will be gifting 100 archive pieces. The idea is to bridge the divide between the past and the future. The archive pieces will be vacuum sealed and dropped in areas around with the world with strong ties to youth and subcultures—like Tokyo, Berlin and London—and documented by photographers Olya Oleinic and Kyle Weeks.
Raf Simons X Fred Perry fall/winter 18 collection will be available at Club 21 from 10 September.
