It’s been confirmed. Ex-Dior Homme Artistic Director Kris Van Assche will head to Berluti, taking over Haider Ackermann – who had only been with the brand for three seasons.

Kris Van Assche was previously with Dior Homme for 11 years. News broke that he would be leaving the Parisian brand, and Kim Jones of Louis Vuitton would take over. Some find this shift to Berluti less surprising (than Virgil Abloh becoming Louis Vuitton’s Menswear Artistic Director) as Dior, Louis Vuitton and Berluti are all owned by French luxury goods conglomerate LVMH.

Kris van Assche’s first collection for Berluti will be shown at Paris Fashion Week in January 2019.
