Adidas Adds Boost Technology To The Stan Smith
Boost: coming to a Stan Smith near you soon.
It was only a matter of time before it happened, really: adidas has taken its original best-selling trainer and added its most-coveted sole technology. And the results are... actually quite nice.
Debuted in 2014, Boost is a cloud-like sole-unit that was originally designed for running shoes, but has since been used in everything from basketball shoes to lifestyle trainers; with Kanye West's Yeezy line its most famous advocate.
In theory, Boost is meant to make your run smooth and comfortable, but like Nike Air Max before it, the technology's greatest popularity has come from people who want to wear trainers that look cool.
And who can blame them...
Certainly not us.
The adidas Stan Smith Boost is out now.
