Adidas Originals New EQT As Lensed By Juergen Teller

Everything that is essential, nothing is not.

Dropping just days before CNY (now you know what to spend those ang baos on), adidas Originals presents the brand new EQT campaign lookbook for S/S17. Shot by German photographer Juergen Teller on the streets of Berlin, the images are an anti-glamour, no-nonsense approach to footwear and apparel. Originally launched in 1991 as a pure approach to function and athletic innovation, adidas Originals Equipment collection was bold, original and no-nonsense, with silhouettes that were pared down to deliver on functionality over excess.

The new adidas Originals EQT collection takes inspiration from the original EQT green colour palette and 90s heritage, blending classic sportswear pieces and bold nostalgic graphics with contemporary cuts and a modern perspective to bring essential adidas heritage into 2016. Accompanying footwear comes from the range’s first drop releasing worldwide on January 26, with classic and contemporary models like the EQT Racing 91, EQT Support 93/17 and EQT Support ADV stepping out in the EQT series’ hot new signature colour, Turbo Red (huat ah!).

Set against a neutral backdrop of black and white, the result is a bold new aesthetic and one that looks set to start us on the right foot for 2017.
