Imagine if you will a piece of paper that works with your writing instrument to recognise your handwriting. To then memorise your words and store them digitally so when you want to organise or recall them, it appears on your mobile device. This is what Montblanc’s Augmented Paper is all about. It’s an elegant notebook that works with a special Montblanc writing instrument that will instantaneously digitize all your notes at a touch of a button.

Considering what an incredible innovation this is, it’s unthinkable then that there are 59 million primary school-age children that are denied an education; and in all probability wouldn’t be able to write a full sentence even on a simple piece of paper.

Montblanc, through its partnership with UNICEF aims to help improve learning for over five million children worldwide; by giving these children access to an education, they are inevitably empowering them to learn to write. Adding on to their Writing Is A Gift Collection, the Montblanc Augmented Paper also gets a special edition. Where the original is clad in black, this special edition variant will offer a stunning indigo blue envelop organiser. Within the organiser there’s a notebook and a StarWalker writing instrument, and you will also find embossed, six different alphabets that children learn to write first from different languages, including Roman, Hindi, Arabic and three Asian characters.

For each of this special edition products sold, Montblanc will raise the amount it ultimately donates to UNICEF.
