Whoever says “size doesn’t matter” clearly hasn’t seen the new Samsung 98-inch TV. With high-resolution picture quality and streaming services the norm these days, big screen TVs are a growing trend. Earlier this year, Samsung launched its all-new QLED series, which pushes the boundaries of the impossible by featuring an almost reality-perfect 8K resolution in 75”, 82” and 87” screens.
But when does Samsung ever stop outdoing itself? Its latest addition stands at a gargantuan 98-inch: a TV so big you don’t need to go to cinema anymore. Naturally, the higher the numbers, the higher the price tag. Priced at a whopping RM299,999, the 98-inch QLED 8K Q900R Smart TV is one of Samsung’s most prized possessions, and is loaded with all the latest tech and a grand scale of features.
The Q900R comes with the performance-driven Quantum Processor featuring an industry first AI-powered picture processing technology, capable of studying and tracking different images in order to convert and upgrade them into 8K resolution despite its original format. Other features include the Ultra Viewing Angle technology—Samsung promises a picture perfect experience from any angle and from wherever you sit using calibrated algorithms.
Its new line of televisions also includes an ambient mode, an interactive embellishment which acts as a live screensaver when the TV is not in use to share your favorite pictures, art or even mimic your wall and blend in with your dОcor. The only question is: is your living room big enough for the TV?
