And a very happy Valentine's Day it will be.

In the last dying breaths of 2016, Tom Hardy threw his hat into the ring to save the year with a bedtime story on BBC's CBeebies that aired on New Year's Eve.
As you can imagine might happen when the man who can can play both Bane and Bronson chucks on a grey t-shirt and cuddles up to his dog to read a children's story, women everywhere promptly lost their shit.
Can you blame them?
Accustomed to having to endure Peppa Pig omnibuses, mothers were quick to air their support of the new direction CBeebies was taking, for the sake of the children of course. Their dreams have been answered as tomorrow Hardy will return to the sofa—with his pooch Woodstock—and soothe souls nationwide.
The Esquire cover star will read The Cloudspotter by Tom McLaughlin, which tells the tale of Franklin and his adventure with a new friend in a hot-air balloon. Frankly he could read a Pizza Hut brochure and people would still tune in.
So if you perpetually disappoint your girlfriend on Valentine's Day with jewelry that turns her finger green or a last minute table for two at 10:45pm, leave it to Tom this year. He knows what to do.
