Man at His Best

Ewan McGregor Is Campaigning For A Return To 'Star Wars'

Can he convince them?

Ewan McGregor is a card carrying Hollywood vampire who hasn't aged a day in over two decades.

Which is great, because it means he can return to his most iconic roles without looking ridiculous. The hotly anticipated Trainspotting 2 is arriving next year, and now the Scottish actor is campaigning for another stint as Star Wars'  Obi-Wan Kenobi.

'I've always thought there was a story to tell between my last one and Alec Guinness' first one. It would be fun to film that story now that I'm older,' the cheeky actor laughed to Premiere magazine (reports Den of Geek).

'I'd be the right age. I'm 45; Alec Guinness was what, 60? I could do two of them!' he suggested.

His Star Wars films were heavily panned by critics, but with Disney at the helm, McGregor might finally get the acclaimed outing he deserves.
