You’ve seen the vacuum cleaner, the bladeless fan and the AirBlade handryers, now it’s time to say hello to Dyson’s latest reimagining, the humble hairdryer.

In Dyson parlance, it is the Dyson Supersonic and, as you’d expect from a company that does things a little bit differently, it isn’t quite like anything else on the hairdrying market. For starters, it is silent, or at least quieter than others on the market.

Dyson also suggest that, with focused air control, it combats heat damage that conventional dryers can cause and does so eight times more quickly than your usual brand. And, just because we know you'd be interested, Dyson has already tested the Supersonic on 1010 miles of real human hair. Presumably, not from one head.
