Choir of Clare College and The Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra
This weekend sees the choir of Clare College from the University of Cambridge, UK with their music director, Graham Ross presenting a programme featuring Fauré’s gentle, soothing Requiem and Bernstein’s rousing Chichester Psalms. Known throughout the world as one of the leading university choral groups, the most sensational of sounds awaits you this Saturday and Sunday. Head on over here for more.
Shakespeare Goes Bollywood
Directed by Matthew Koh, Shakespeare Goes Bollywood is a light-hearted spin on Shakespeare presented by The Actors Studio under the Shakespeare 400 banner. Follow the journey of 13-yaer-old Savitri as she meets a wandering storyteller by the name of Chachaji in a tale of interreligious love and all the hurdles to come. Trust us, Hindustani magic and Shakespeare sounds like a very good mix. For more information, check out their website.
Vive Green Market
It's time to eat local, shop local and grow local with Vive Green Market which is happening this weekend at Sentul Park where you'll find plenty of local produce, healthy snacks, nifty handicrafts, and even some performances. If wrestling and choirs are not your thing, we definitely suggest you stop by here. There's probably plenty of Pokemon to snag up as well! Check out their Facebook for more information.
