Making his MPO debut in Schumann's Piano Concerto is French pianist David Fray whose playing has been decribed by critics as "exquisite, imaginative and virtuosic." He will be presenting Bruckner's best-known symphony, the Fourth, inhabits a sound world of celestial majesty, vast time scale, far-flung sonic splendour, a leisurely pace with awesome silences and engaging themes.
