Are you ready for Shook!'s Saturday night reboot?

Shook!’s reboot of its dining concept is called Saturday Night Vibes, and it swings. As the showpiece of Starhill Gallery’s Feast Village and one of the golden triangle’s go-to places, Shook!’s thing has always been about procuring the freshest ingredients. Now, add to that the full-on Cirque du Culinaire of Saturday Night Vibes. 

You’ll like what greets you first: the signature cocktail, an Aperol Spritz inspired by sultry Mediterranean nights. The mix of prosecco, Aperol and soda preps the ’buds for the relaxed vibe and noshing to come. The buffet spread is… immense. It runs the length of the space and includes every signature dish from the restaurants in Feast Village, including Shook!, Fisherman’s Cove, Luk Yu Tea House, Sentidos Gastrobar, The Latin Grill and Khushi Spice. Highlights? Pressed and ironed sashimi and sushi (crisp edges, you know), seafood paella, king prawn noodles (scrumptious), fresh-shucked Pacific Oysters, five-spiced rack of lamb, wagyu beef cheeks and tender tiger prawns seasoned in  togarashi spice (a personal favourite). We’d say it was five-star meal, but this is a not-review, so we won’t.

Expect different performers of note taking the stage with original music. You’re too late for Fazz and the bodaciously excellent Evelyn Feroza and Nadir, but can look forward to Reza Salleh (Sept 16), Jumero (Sept 23), Bihzhu (Oct 14) and Ryot Jones (Oct 21).
