1 | Salty snacks
One of the worst things alcohol does to your body is dehydrate you. So snacking on treats like popcorn, chips, and pretzels—which are notorious for drying your mouth (and body) out—is like getting a head start on the problem. Instead, reach for something that's filled with water like cucumber slices or watermelon.
2 | Salad
Consider this: If it upsets your stomach when you're sober, it'll feel twice as awful when you're drunk. As much as we love a good round of buffalo wings, they'll have to sit out before a night of heavy drinking.
