A Woman Is Suing KFC For USD20m Because Her Chicken Bucket Wasn't Full Enough

This could be the most financially lucrative takeaway she ever ordered.

TMZ reports that a woman is suing KFC because the bucket of chicken she received at her local restaurant wasn't as nearly as full as the one on TV. (Good job, advertising.)

According to a new lawsuit filed by a New York woman (as told to TMZ), she went to a KFC and forked over USD20 for a "Family Fill Up" deal, expecting the giant overflowing casket of fried chicken-like parts, but instead got what was written on the menu. Naturally, she decided to sue for one million times the original amount she paid. America!

A woman is suing KFC for £16m and she might actually stand a chance

"I came home and said, 'Where's the chicken?' I thought I was going to have a couple of meals,'' the woman reportedly told The New York Post. "They say it feeds the whole family, they're showing a bucket that's overflowing with chicken. You get half a bucket. That's false advertising, and it doesn't feed the whole family. They're small pieces!"

A KFC spokesperson told TMZ that they've got this one "in the bucket," which we're assuming means they thing they'll easily beat this frivolous lawsuit. Or, hey! Maybe there will be some real reform in advertising!
