If you're looking for a new spot for an interesting bite with a nice breezy setting, Tiki Taka might be a good spot to check out. Nestled quietly in Bukit Damasara, the sleek hangout spot is a nicely done restaurant and bar that mainly specialises in tapas and pinxtos with an Asian touch.
With interesting twists to traditional Spanish tapas and pinxtos such as the Mexindy pinxtos (grilled tandoori chicken, mexican dry rub, yoghurt crema, pickled onion, coriander), Nutella Bacon pintxos (nutella, caramelised banana, walnut, grilled bacon, truffle honey, blueberries) and Singapore Chilli Prawns tapas (singapore style chilli prawns, deep fried mantou buns, coriander, sesame seeds), the menu selection serves to be interesting and a perfect sharing meal with friends and family.
The menu doesn't just serve pinxtos and tapas but also a wide selection of asian and western favourites like ikan bakar, nasi lemak and squid ink pasta as well as fusions like char siu pork pizzas, strawberry chicken and many more.
For those with a sweet tooth, they'll be delighted to find selections such as Nutella Bacon Wantons (deep fried nutella & bacon wantons, macerated berries, balsamic glaze, snow sugar) or their Ice Ice Baby! (mango sorbet, coconut ice-cream, toasted coconut flakes, pandan palm sugar syrup, buttered popcorn, crushed peanuts, fruit medley).
Tiki Taka is located at No 138, Jalan Kasah, Medan Damansara, Kuala Lumpur. It is open on Monday to Fridays from 4pm to 1am and on the weekends, 9am to 1am. For more information, go here.
