Rare is it to find a photograph showing a relaxed, almost spirited look at the Vietnam War. Yet, here are 25 photographs of men (and one dog), most taken in the quiet, down time of war with nothing but a fellow serviceman's camera to take note. These photographs, originally from old photo slides, were digitized by Kendra Rennick. After the death of her friend's father, a Vietnam vet, Rennick's friend found the collection of slides taken by her father and others during their time overseas. Those photos were the impetus for Rennick, who used them to create the Vietnam Slide Project. These are those slides.
