We all like to fancy ourselves a bit of a Testino with our iPhones, and the ease with which they produce great images has undoubtedly paved the way for a new generation of keen photographers.
The iPhone Photography Awards aim to celebrate just that, and now in its ninth year the entries were more competitive and plentiful than ever with images from 139 countries submitted.
The Grand Prize Winner was by Chinese photographer Siyuan Niu titled 'Man and the Eagle'. The portrait is of a 70-year-old man stood face-to-face with his pet eagle in the Tianshan Mountains, and was astonishingly shot on nothing more than a an iPhone 5S with a VSCO filter applied afterwards.
First, Second and Third Place Photographers of the Year Awards went to participants from Poland and the US and included shots of cathedrals, sky-scapes and a beach shot with mother and son.
