The latest issue of Marvel Comics introduced a new villain: M.O.D.A.A.K. aka Mental Organism Designed As America's King. But look closely at the monster—the skin the colour of burnt sienna, the beady blue eyes, the tiny infant hands, the tuft of golden hair peeking from beneath the helmet...
It's not a bird or a plane, it's Donald J. Trump, presumptive presidential nominee for the Republican party.
The horrifying monster appears in Spider-Gwen Annual #1, shouting xenophobic things at innocent people, telling them to get "back on your feet, foreign filth!"
"I'm... I'm from... Waco, Texas..." one of them replied.
But have no fear, Captain America soon appears to deliver a knock-out punch to Trump-MODAAK and saves America from certain doom, as the monster mutters a final, "Must make America—" and is destroyed.
The issue that Trump-MODAAK appears in contains several short stories created by multiple artists. Take a look at the relevant pages below.
