Skydiving is scary enough when you have the proper equipment. But take away the parachute, and it's pretty much a death wish. Unless, that is, you are daredevil skydiver Luke Aikins.
Aikins, who did some of the stunts for "Ironman 3," set a world record on Saturday by skydiving from a plane 25,000 feet in the air and making the perfect landing into a net.
He has completed 18,000 jumps in his lifetime, but this is the first time he or anyone has done so without a parachute or wingsuit.
"If I wasn't nervous I would be stupid," Aikins told the Fresno Bee.
The video is nerve-wracking to watch, but Aikins's brilliant landing is incredibly satisfying.
