When the human-faced baby goat carcass was found in Kota Tinggi last month, officials from the district veterinary services office refused to rule anything out—not even the logic-defying possibility that it was the product of an illicit human-goat union.
But it turns out the laws of nature are inviolate, as the Veterinary Services Department confirmed that there the human-faced goat is 100% goat, without any trace of human DNA.
Department director-general Dr Kamarudin Md Isa said that though rare, such cases of goats being born deformed do occur from time to time. The freak case was filed under ‘congenital anomaly’, with the department’s investigation concluding that the stillborn kid may have suffered an infection or malnourishment in the womb.
"It is a fetal anomaly. There is no issue that the kid was born through unnatural sexual intercourse. Such perception is wrong," Kamarudin added.
Which is a shame, because the kid would’ve been perfect alongside Alden Ehrenreich in the 2018 young Han Solo Star Wars spinoff.
