A shoutout to all Penangites: Louis Vuitton is sailing into your shores. This is the first time in 30 years Louis Vuitton Malaysia is spreading its horizon outside of Kuala Lumpur.

Kim Jones, Men’s Artistic Director of Louis Vuitton named his Fall Winter 2016 collection ‘Future Heritage’ and the culturally rich Penang unquestionably possesses that. Open from 8th to 12th September, 2016 at the Georgetown Heritage boutique hotel Seven Terraces, the 'Louis Vuitton Visits Penang' will premier a transversal collection with travel essentials and the latest leather goods and accessories from the Women’s and Men’s Fall Winter 2016 Collection.

To commemorate Louis Vuitton’s new adventure, the maison has teamed up with Malaysian Hip Hop artist, Joe Flizzow. His portraits seen here exclusively features a classic zip up hoodie, tailored jacket and the Palk monogram backpack.

Visitors will also be seeing the coveted black-and-grey variation of the classic LV Monogram canvas, Monogram Eclipse and the debut of The New Rolling Luggage by industrial designer, Marc Newson. Be sure to look out for it, we know we will!

As Laurent Barrere, General Manager of Louis Vuitton of Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam says, “Penang is an exciting direction for Louis Vuitton in Malaysia. It conjures up imagery of old world charm infused with adventures that underline modernity. It's a celebration of the Spirit of Travel, and we look forward to welcoming our clients and Friends of the House who will continue this journey with us."
