Here's Your First Look At Game Of Thrones Season Seven
Start poring over these clips of Sansa, Arya, and Jon Snow.

At this time last year, new photos of Game of Thrones would have been feverishly devoured in hopes of finding some sort of clue revealing the fate of Jon Snow. It's interesting, actually, to compare off-season Game of Thrones this year to before Season Six. That cliffhanger, as annoying as it was, gave Game of Thrones a long tail throughout the winter until its sixth season debuted. Anything Game of Thrones-related throughout the later half of 2015 contained possible hints into what the hell happened to Snow after he was left betrayed and bleeding out in the snow.
This year, with a neatly tied up and question-free end to Season Six, there's hardly much to keep Game of Thrones fanaticism going in the long weeks until Season Seven. It's healthy, really, that we're not obsessing for months over something so inconsequential as a character's fate on a TV show. We can spend these months focusing our attention elsewhere, like our crumbling democracy or who's a robot on Westworld. But that doesn't mean there's not Game of Thrones news to be found in the off-season. Yes, in recent weeks we've seen a horrible theory get debunked and possibly the entire plot of the next season leaked online.
Otherwise, there's more HBO-sanctioned news, like the first teaser for Season Seven, which aired during Westworld last night. No need to pour over stills like it's CSI: Westeros to learn if Jon Snow is living or dead, because he's undead! And these images just show Sansa in what looks to be godswood, Arya dressed for winter on horseback, and Snow brooding about probably having died briefly. Take a look below—we'll update this post when the full teaser is available online.
