Amazon Studios and Netflix are now in the ranks of the film industry’s elite distributors. With Amazon’s company founder and CEO Jeff Bezos getting a laugh out of Host Jimmy Kimmel’s joke too.

Coming soon: Amazon purchased romance-comedy title The Big Sick for a reported USD12 million and has own original TV shows like The Grand Tour (Jeremy Clarkson's reincarnation)

Wins Oscar for Best Documentary Short for The White Helmets.

Netflix has about 86 million subscribers in 190 countries

Own original TV shows like House of Cards and Stranger Things, and in 2015 released its first major feature film Beasts of No Nation.

Coming soon: Netflix forked out around USD12million for period-drama Mudbound.
