Malaysian social enterprise FOLO Farms has received US$10,771.62 (or RM47,5819.49) in funding from Chivas Regal following the public voting phase of the Chivas Venture. Congratulations FOLO, and if you voted for them, thank you!

If you’re unsure what Chivas Venture is about, every year they invest USD1million in start-ups from all over the world that are creating positive change for a better society, a better world. Nearly 6,000 entrepreneurs who have applied since 2014, and the change that have impacted the society is what inspires Chivas Venture to continue their investments. What then does FOLO Farms do? Led by co-founder Will Chua, FOLO (aka Feed Our Loved Ones) Farms is the Malaysian finalist that recovers 3 tonnes of daily food waste and turns it into compost to grow healthy vegetables for a community of 100 families.
