Please Let This USD100 Million Conor McGregor VS Floyd Mayweather Fight Happen

The offer is on the table.

It's hard to imagine the logistics of a Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather fight. If it was a standup boxing match, Mayweather would almost certainly win. If it was a mixed martial arts fight—McGregor would win. This should be pretty obvious. Given that, it's unlikely that we'll ever see these two guys—and their respective professional sporting leagues—ever agree on how to actually put them in the ring and/or octagon together.

That hasn't stopped McGregor from challenging Mayweather to a USD100 million fight after the two have become involved in a heated media war. On Tuesday, Mayweather continued their ongoing feud by explaining why he should never be compared to the UFC Champion, adding that "I'm an elephant. An elephant don't beef with ants. An elephant is so large he don't even see ants."

That night, McGregor hopped on the mic at a New York club to challenge the boxer.

"Floyd's not ready for this," McGregor said. "Much respect to Floyd. He's a solid businessman on what he's been able to do, he's a fucking animal at what he's been able to do. But as far as real fighting, as far as true pure unarmed combat, Floyd don't want none of this."

McGregor continued: "He wants a boxing match, he doesn't want a fight ... I want USD100 million cash to fight him under boxing rules. He's afraid of a real fight."

That's some pretty good money. And since the only thing Mayweather loves is money, maybe he'll come out of retirement for this.
