The all-new Jaguar XF draws from a lightweight aluminium intensive architecture which focuses on a blend of design, capabilities, luxury and technology. Not really a XE or a XJ but rather something in the middle, the car's dynamic and coupe-like design is perfect as a premium business sedan for those wanting something edgier instead of a traditionally formal premium car.
Its aluminium intensive design makes the car exceptionally light by making it 190KG lighter than its predecessor while increasing its torsional stiffness up to 28 percent and forming the XF's foundation for a smooth ride, precise handling and superb dynamics.
Powered by a 2.0-litre i4 turbocharged petrol engine and matched with an 8-speed electronic automatic transmission with Jaguar Sequential Shift, the car's is an eager and powerful drive. Hitting 100KMPH in 8.1 seconds, this car is pretty fast for a premium sedan. Whilst it might seem bulky, the light trimmings keep the drive subdued and smooth.
Offered in two variants, the Prestige comes with 17-inch lightweight, 15-spoke wheels, perforated leather seats, metal tread plates with Jaguar script and multi- function soft-grain leather steering wheel. The other variant is the XF R-Sport which features sports suspension, 18-inch Helix 10-spoke wheels and R Sport bodykit, R Sport branded multi-function, soft-grain leather steering wheel and R Sport branded metal tread plates.
The new Jaguar XF is now available for order from Jaguar Malaysia.
