If you're a BMW fan and action lover, you'll definitely remember The Hire, a series of action packed web short films shot in the early 2000s starring BMW cars with a star studded cast and directors including Fight Club director David Fincher, Ridley Scott, John Woo, Ang Lee, Guy Ritchie, and Gary Oldman just to name a few. It was truly ahead of its time and unrivaled by its peers.
Fast forward 15 years later, BMW has once again revived the beloved short films by enlisting District 9 director Neill Blomkamp for their latest flick, The Escape. The short film starts the all new 2017 BMW 5 Series together with English actor Clive Owen (Sin City, Inside Man, The International) as The Driver. Owen's character is tasked with delivering the last living clone played by Dakota Fanning to a mysterious buyer. The short film also stars Jon Bernthal (The Walking Dead, Daredevil) and Vera Farmiga (The Departed, The Conjuring). For more information, head here.
