Got a nifty idea for an app but no idea how to make one? Well Apple is looking to train the next generation of app developers with the launch of their first iOS academy this October. The academy will be launching in Italy and will be located at the Universita di Napoli Federico II.

Students enrolled in this academy will be given coaching and guidance on how to create their own apps. There's also a possibility these lucky students might access Apple's latest products and system to tinker with.

Open to 200 students, the academy expects to double the amount of students next year and continue to expand in the years to come. Apple also mentioned plans to build more learning institutions across the globe.

In a statement, Chief Financial Officer of Apple, Luca Maestri said, "We are thrilled to be working with University of Naples Federico II to launch the first iOS Developer Academy in Europe. Some of the most creative developers in the world come from Europe, and we are confident this centre will help the next generation get the skills they need for success.”
