Ordering Omakase is usually a game of chance, as you’re entrusting your entire dining experience to the chef. However, one will definitely be wowed at Sushi Babe as Michelin-starred Chef Jeff Ramsey of the ‘fun dining' restaurant Babe presents his take on traditional sushi-making techniques with modern flavours whilst paying homage to his roots as a trained Sushi Chef. Expect well-sourced and fresh ingredients to be part of your experience as dishes like the tenshi ebi zukushi, a blue angel prawn with a crunchy, savoury sprinkling of roast prawn head; aji yakisugi, jack fish smoked with 1000-year-old cedar; buri, yellowtail belly; uni, sea urchin and more make an unforgettable dining sensation.
You can choose to dine at the Sushi Bar (seats six at a time) where Chef Ramsey will personally prepare and talk you through each course of the Omakase meal; or savour from the a la carte and set menus in the Dining Room.
Sushi Babe will be open at KLCC until December 14 while Babe undergoes a transformation at Clearwater and will reopen its doors by the year end with a new look and menu.
The omakase menu is priced at RM 398++ per pax.A total of three seatings throughout the night (7pm, 8pm, and 8.30pm). Six guest per seating.
